Description (Service)

Community mental health programs for children youth and their families, including individual, family counselling, and groups; Youth Justice programming and supports

  • child, youth and parent/caregiver counselling
  • youth justice programs, including diversion and rehabilitation
  • intensive short-term crisis intervention
  • care management and transitions to adult services
  • parenting support and groups
  • housing supports
  • support and educational groups for youth
  • volunteer opportunities
  • youth and family engagement opportunities

Hours Mon-Thu 9 am-8:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm; some evening groups available
Areas Served Dufferin County ; Halton Region ; Peel Region ; Toronto
Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and under 
 
Children and youth birth-17 years who are experiencing mental health issues and their parent/caregivers, youth involved in the Youth Justice system, or at risk of involvement, programs and supports for youth who identify as 2SLGBTQ+
Application Call Centralized Intake 905-451-4655, or visit WhereToStart.ca; self referrals and family referrals; referrals accepted from community agencies, Peel Children's Aid Society, Probation Officers, School Boards, hospitals, Crown attorneys/Ontario Court of Justice; referring organizations must obtain appropriate consents for disclosure of information prior to referral to any program
