Food Vouchers
Programs that supply food coupons which can be exchanged in designated grocery stores, supermarkets and/or farmers markets for food products. The vouchers are generally provided to low income individuals and families on an occasional or ongoing basis, but may also be available to other specified populations; and may be issued in paper or electronic formats.
Housing Expense Assistance
Programs that pay current housing bills or finance new living accommodations for people who are otherwise unable to provide for their housing needs. Housing expense assistance programs may have age, income, disability, need or other eligibility requirements.

Moving Expense Assistance
Programs that provide cash grants for people who cannot make a necessary move without assistance. Also included are programs that help people with expenses related to moving a house from one piece of property to another. Transportation Expense Assistance
Programs that provide immediate cash, bus tokens, loans, loan/insurance payment support or other forms of financial assistance for people who otherwise have no means of transportation. Programs that pay all or a portion of the costs associated with acquiring assistive technology products and/or obtaining support services such as customization, fit/modification services or repairs. Programs that pay the health care expenses of people who are unable to obtain necessary care without assistance. Medical expense assistance programs may have age, income, disability, need or other eligibility requirements.

Public Assistance Programs
Programs that provide financial assistance in the form of cash grants or purchase of services for eligible low-income and indigent individuals and families to ensure that they have a basic income and access to essential medical, nutritional and supportive services.

Burial/Cremation Expense Assistance
Programs that provide financial assistance to help families who have lost a loved one pay for the funeral and/or the cremation or interment of the individual's remains.
Recreation Related Expense Assistance
Programs that pay all or a portion of the fees and/or other expenses associated with instruction and/or participation in a particular recreational, artistic or leisure-time activity for people, especially children from low income families, who would be unable to enjoy those programs without assistance.
Mental Health Expense Assistance
Programs that pay the mental health care expenses of people who are unable to obtain necessary care without assistance. Mental health expense assistance programs may have age, income, disability, need or other eligibility requirements.
