Services typically include birth control counselling; birth control; condoms; emergency contraceptive pills; STI testing and treatment; HIV testing; pregnancy testing, counselling and referral; and sexuality and relationship counselling.
Obstetrics/Gynecology
Programs that are staffed by specialists who provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic and treatment services that focus on women's reproductive health and care for women during pregnancy, childbirth and the period immediately following childbirth as well as the health of the fetus.
Women's Centres
Multipurpose centres that serve as a focal point for women in the community and which offer, at a single location, a wide variety of services and activities that are needed by and of interest to this population.
