Eligibility screening, language skills assessment and referral to English language government-funded programs

Mon-Thu 9 am-4 pm (in-person and online service); Fri 9 am-4 pm (online service only)

Areas Served Halton Region ; Peel Region
Eligibility Adults 18 years or older are eligible if they meet one of these criteria: Canadian citizen born outside of Canada; permanent resident; Convention refugee, protected person or asylum seeker; worker admitted under the Live-In Caregiver program; applicant under other programs holding the initial letter of approval from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
Application

Call ahead to verify eligibility, book assessment appointment and confirm documents; Permanent Resident (PR) card, or Landing paper with passport are required to access service
