Description (Service)

Goals include: women working together to broaden their horizons, including lifelong learning, empowerment, advocacy, social events, networking and promoting education 
 
Members can participate in monthly interest groups for discussions on topics including:

  • books  
  • current events  
  • issues and advocacy 
  • painting 
  • spirituality 
  • featured speakers 
  • online learning 
  • gourmet & international meals & baking 
  • bridge etc. 
  • dragon boating 
  • golfing/walking /hiking

Scholarships and Awards: 
Several monetary awards presented yearly to female students graduating from full-time studies at post-secondary institutions

Affiliated with the Canadian Federation of University Women and Ontario Council

  • Some of our meetings are virtual by Zoom, some are in person and some are hybrid

  • meetings open to guests and prospective members Sep-Apr
