Halton Region Vaccine Program

To get the latest information on Halton Region’s COVID-19 Vaccine Program please visit halton.ca/COVIDvaccines. Website is updated frequently and residents are asked to check regularly for the latest information

  • Updated COVID-19 vaccines are now available to everybody aged 6 months and older in Ontario at no cost, regardless of citizenship or immigration status, even if you do not have an Ontario health card.
  • If you’ve already had COVID-19, you should still be vaccinated for protection from reinfection or severe outcomes. While infection alone provides some protection, vaccination at recommended intervals helps further improve the immune response
  • Vaccinations are available at many pharmacies, physician's offices as well as other locations in Halton
  • Children 6 months to 5 years of age can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at a participating pharmacy or primary care office. If the pharmacy or primary care office cannot provide the vaccine, please book an appointment at a Halton Region COVID-19 Community Immunization Clinic
  • The COVID-19 Vaccination Service for Homebound Residents is available for residents who are unable to leave their homes. Eligible residents can submit a request for this service by completing the COVID-19 Vaccination Service for Homebound Residents – service form

Ontario Pharmacy Vaccine Program

You can receive your COVID-19 primary vaccine series and/or booster doses at participating pharmacies. The vaccine types offered by specific pharmacies may change without notice.

Most pharmacies book appointments ahead of time and some allow walk-ins. Check with the pharmacy before you go.

  • you must have a valid Ontario health (OHIP) card, or other form of valid government-issued identification
  • contact a participating pharmacy near you to book an appointment
