Description and Service Details

Description (Service)
  • on-site respite house at Bond St in Oakville in a separate house and serves individuals with multiple needs from over the age of five (serving families of Halton, Peel, Dufferin, Waterloo, Wellington Regions)
  • provides non-emergency respite for families and caregivers for the weekend, or up to a week at a time
  • recreation focused taking into consideration the needs of the individuals currently utilizing the program
  • provide relief both in and out of the home
  • host agency for respiteservices.com in Halton
  • individuals under the age of 18 require a CWSDS application form to be completed
  • individuals over the age of 18 require a Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) package * to determine eligibility for services and complete an assessment prior to a referral to an agency such as CWSDS, contact DSO at 1-888-941-1121
Hours Administration: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm * evening appointments available
