Description (Service)

Peer support services for individuals living with the effects of persistent post-concussion symptoms (PPCS), also known as Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS), or suspected Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and their caregivers

  • Peer Support Connection Program
    • emotional support and guidance from a trained volunteer who has lived experience with similar challenges
    • volunteers do not provide medical or clinical advice
  • Zoom (Virtual) Peer Support Groups
    • opportunities to share experiences, exchange coping strategies, and receive mutual support
    • groups serve as a complement to care, and are designed to reduce isolation, build community, and foster connection among participants navigating similar challenges
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm; hours of virtual support groups vary

Eligibility Peer Support Connection Program: Patients navigating concussion, persistent post-concussion syndrome (PPCS) also known as post-concussion syndrome (PCS) or suspected Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and their caregivers

Zoom (Virtual) Peer Support Groups: Participants navigating the relevant topic (PPCS/PCS or suspected CTE); must be either individuals living with these conditions or their caregivers
