Description (Service)

Counselling referral and funding program for child and youth victims of Internet exploitation and impacted family members

  • referrals to short-term counselling in community
Hours

Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm

Areas Served Ontario
Eligibility Victims of Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) or impacted family members

Applicant must
  • be primary resident of Ontario
  • require counselling services
  • not have previously received comparable funding from the Program or another government program for the same occurrence
  • not have been charged regarding the reported occurrence
  • not have access to other resources available to meet applicant's immediate need that provide comparable funding
Application

Direct application from individual or referrals will be accepted from (including but not limited to):

  • an impacted family member
  • the guardian of an applicant who is a minor
  • an individual with legal authority to act on behalf of an eligible applicant with special needs
  • Police Services
  • Children's Aid Socities
  • The Victim/Witness Assistance Program
  • a Sexual Assault or Rape Crisis Centre
  • a Victim Crisis Assistance Ontario service provider
  • a community organization
